Our Aussie Trip.

Day 79 and we are home nice to be home. Jess was happy. Well have done a break down of our costs on the road for 3 months. Traveling half way around Australia 🇦🇺

Here is our honest break down of expenses and tips ✅

⛽️ Fuel - We drive a 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero exceed 3.8lt petrol motor

⬇️Minimum paid $132.9 c/L
⬆️Maximum paid $2.15 c/L

💰Total $6675.01($84.49 a day)
⛽️Total litres 4056.9
〽️Usage 19.86 litres to the 100 k’s (90% towing)

❇️ We use the “Fuel Maps Australia” app to find the cheapest fuel.
❇️ We also use fuel vouchers where possible.
❇️ Headwinds suck... suck your fuel that is! Max 26 litres to the 100k’s.

❇️ We use “wikicamps” to help find our accommodation.
❇️ Join the TAWKERS group. Lots of caravan parks that have kids stay free.

❇️ Also worth joining is the other caravan park groups like discovery parks and big4. Some of their deals are great 👍
❇️ Chat to other campers around you, they may have just been where your going and have great tips for you 😃

❇️ We try to have snacks in the car for those long drives.
❇️ We have a fridge in the car so on the days away from the caravan we pack our lunch.

❇️ Don’t forget about National Park entry fees. Uluru is $65 and Kakadu $100 for a family. Most others are only $13 we brought WA park pass for $46 for 3 weeks

❇️ We seriously don’t have that much takeaway so this figure shocked us but with a family of 4 it adds up quick 🙈
