Detour, we're going to Paris

Due to bad weather in Amsterdam my connecting flight to Gothenburg was cancelled.

I was presented with two options; either one home 8 hours later (still unsure due to weather) or take a detour through Charles de Gaulle in Paris, only delaying arrival by an hour.
