Aoraki / Mount Cook

In the morning we met my parents, so I could help them with the extra data they bought for my fathers phone. For some reason. He didn't get any sms so he didn't even realise, how much he spent already. To top up his prepaid sim he needed to receive an sms code and it took me quite a while to make it work.

After a short stop at lake Pukaki we drove to the Mt Cook area. We did a small hike to the Kea Point, where we had a stunning view of Mt Cook. For lunch we drove to the tasman glacier, where I remembered a small sheltered hut with tables. While eating my parents walked past us without them knowing we are there.
