Payto lake

We stopped at Peyto Lake and hiked up to the busy lookout. Since it was so crowded, we decided to keep going and hike a little higher. The trail was consistently steep, but the view made it all worth it. In just a 30-minute walk, we reached a quiet, peaceful lookout with hardly anyone around.

The view from up there was absolutely breathtaking—an amazing perspective of the lake’s bright turquoise waters and the valley stretching out below. We took some extra time here, not only to soak in the beauty of the lake but also to stretch our legs a bit. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip!Read more
