Lesser Slave Lake

After visiting the National Park, we drove through the night headin north. Then we stopped at a small park, it was already quite late. And while we were brushing teeth we asked ourselves if it’s possible, that we’re just watching „arurora borealis“ (polar lights). And yes! There they were. I could watch them out of my bed. Polar lights! Just outside my window! (As if we haven’t seen enough for the day.) I was as happy as anyone can be.
The next morning we saw a beautiful sunrise had a nice breakfast (in the cold). What a night and start of the day. ☺️

Nach dem Besuch im Nationalpark fuhren wir weiter Richtung Norden und hielten an einem Park am See. Es war schon recht spät und beim Zähneputzen fragten wir uns, ob wir gerade tatsächlich Nordlichter beobachten... und ja!! Da waren sie. Ich konnte sie aus dem Bett weiter beobachten. Polarlichter! Aus dem Bett! (Als hätten wir noch nicht genug entdeckt an dem Tag.) Glücklicher hätte ich nicht sein können.
Am nächsten morgen gab es noch einen Sonnenaufgang überm See oben drauf und ein schönes Frühstück (im Kalten). Was für eine Nacht und ein toller Start in den Tag. ☺️Leggi altro
