Flew into Oslo and took the train in. We needed to last the entire day to make the time switch so we stayed up, got coffee, and hit a bar for local beer and food. Our neighborhood was in Grünerløkka and it was really cool, hip, and artistic.

Next day we visited the Frogner Park where they have a bunch of naked statues. We walked along the bay and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Oslo was super walkable and public transportation around was amazing.Read more

Today we took the 6 hour scenic train across Norway. The train chugged along little towns and started to climb into the mountains. We reach the peak and are technically on the highest elevated train in the world. The descent down was beautiful and the snow eventually turned into rain.Read more

Ski Time

Bergen is really close to Voss Ski Resort and we were able to take a train directly to the Gondola. The conditions were a bit rainy, but they stopped and we had an amazing day.

This is the first time everyone used T-BARs to ski so Kieran showed us the rope. The T-BAR got caught under Mary's jacket and she had to quickly maneuver out of it before being dragged down the mountain.

We loved the view and conditions up in Norway and it was well worth the trip.Read more

Bergen is a cute little town on the Atlantic Coast and has the astonishing old style of Norwegian houses. Squad would be spending Valenties Day here. While Laura and James slept in, Steph, Tommy, and us went to the local seafood market for oysters. We also climbed the funicular and got a high view of the city.

Laura booked a really fancy restaurant that felt like it was from the movie The Menu. The waiter loved that we were from Baltimore and got to talk about his favorite movies from there. Mary ran into James on the way to the bathroom and we did a fake fight / kick and the staff saw. They laughed so hard and couldn't stop laughing when they saw us at the table.

We took a 2 hour plan ride up to Tromso with the goal to see the Northern Lights. The first day squad split up; Steph, Laura, and James went on a reindeer ride and met indigenous Scandinavian people.

Tommy and us went to a Troll Museum and hit a local brew pub where we befriended the bartended who showed us local beer. We also visit the Tromso Beer Factory in the North which is the most northern mass production brewery in the world.

Sadly on our Northern Lights Trip, we saw no Northern Lights :(Read more

Party in Oslo One Last Time

Final few days in Oslo we took a brunch cruise in the Harbor and walked around the main city center. We had a night out where we located a Black Metal Norwegian Bar and a Club.
