    For Vietnamese people Lunar New Year is the most important celebration of the whole year. They have 1 week off-work and usually coming back to their hometowns to spend time with the family. Before Lunar New Year there are a lot of special markets where you can buy 'red envelopes' for lucky money. Usually you put some money inside this envelopes and give them to children for the best luck in this year. Probably children are so happy to receive these envelopes, hehe :DRead more

    Instead of normal Christmas tree Vietnamese have 3 other types of trees - peach blossom trees, kumquat trees, and orange trees. And as you know motorbikes here are the main transport - vietnamese don't take those trees on the car, no, they are taking huge trees on the motorbikes! Sometimes i'm really wondering how can they do that.. For me, even after 1 year living here, i still can't imagine how could i take it.. Its still a miracle for me :)Read more
