Another spontaneous decision later we were on our way to the "Town of 1770" and the nearby Agnes Water. The Town of 1770 was named in honour of Captain Cook's landing at the location in 1770. We underestimated how far it is so we needed to drive quite a lot to cover the distance to the surf school in Agnes Water. Before coming to Australia this was on our to-do list so we were excited to get into the water.
