Wilcannia to Cobar

This is part of our detour due to wet back roads which produced an unexpected visit to Mt Grenfell Historic Site just 33kms west of Cobar. This is the land of the Karulkiyalu (Stone country) people which they tell there stories through some amazing rock paintings. We set up camp for the night at a free camp behind the Cobar RSL club which is right in the middle of town. Good spot to explore the town.Weiterlesen
