Najera to Santo Domingo

My body has taken a constant pounding, but I am pushing through. My heels are so bad that Ihave switched to walking in my Birkenstocks. If you were to tell me a month short I would walk 14 miles in Birks, I would have laughed but they are allowing my heels to try to heal. The landscape continues to be ever changing and the earth is now a beautiful red color. I am now in wine country and it is very good.
