Flora and Fauna

We have seen some hearty flora and fauna, despite the colder wet weather... Lots of geese and turtles.

One picture that I couldn't have possibly shot was of a crane. While I was on the little patio with Mom, he just swooped down from the right, flew across our location above the waterway, and then landed beyond us around the curve to the left. Quick, peaceful surprise. So close. And then gone just like that. No alarm, no fear. Glad we saw him, though!!!En savoir plus

Family time and Dinner out

Leaving Myrtle Beach and headed for home, via Philly. We miss home now....

Christin got us to the airport, after we dropped off the rental car.

Voyageur We decided we could not skip lunch on the return trip. Mini pretzels 🥨🥨 on the plane were welcomed but not enough for all those hrs. Steak n Shake is yum yum yummy. 🍔🍟

Made it to Philadelphia

On the ground in Philly. Rainy, yucky, but down

They had us depart plane outside in the rain. Then fetch our own bags outside in the rain.

Settled at our gate. Then they changed the gate! Medium hike... Sat down at new gate seats. Immediately changed the gate back to the original! Hiked back, exhausted, sat down, Supposed to.board. No plane yet
..
Such is the travel fun. Good thing we didn't plan to.eat at this airport ... No time or trust that they won't change again
