Day 4: Costa Maya

A full night's sleep is always a good thing.
It looks like we ran through a storm last night.
Stayed on board the boat. It looked like what you could walk to was a made for passengers mall.

Long day

A pretty active day with periods of napping mixed in.
I finally found an Old Fashion that I like.
Weird artwork over the urinals.
Day 5: Roatan

Jordan, Zak and I toured the shops at the end of the gangway. About what I expected. The good news is we weren't hassled by any street vendors. If you wanted to go much beyond the shops you needed toWeiterlesen
Day 5 Done - except for sunset pictures

Another one in the books. Celebrated Royal Caribbean's 50th birthday at dinner. I had lobster for dinner.
Just came back to the room after dinner. No new towel animal. Sadness.
Heading to Mexico

Required sunset pictures. Actually the pictures were taken prior to dinner.
Day 6: Cozumel

There's a mess of other cruise ships on this island.
Just a maze of a mall. Maybe it's a Mexico thing but I encountered the people at the doors to the shops encouraging you to come in and shop. TheseWeiterlesen
Night time

Finished off the day by watching the musical Columbus all about Marvin Columbus. It was fun.
Day 7: On the way home

I'm ready to be home.
Debbie is not feeling well. Her throat is pretty sore. We're hoping a Flat White will fix it.
The Flat White & other medicine I found definitely perked her up.
We had brunch withWeiterlesen
Last night

I'm a little excited as I am ready to be home. Still have a ways to go, but is the end of the second phase and the start of the third and final phase.

Back in the USA

Tired! I didn't sleep well. Anxious to get off the boat and get phase III started.
It all went well and we got off the boat and into the rental car with a minimum of problems.
Who made it so COLD!!Weiterlesen
Pensacola

Part 1 of phase III is complete. Yay!
Loved the Dynamic Response cruise control in the Rav4.
We're almost half way home. We did 500+ miles today. We only have 600 miles to go.
Debbie feels like she isWeiterlesen
Vicksburg

Not too bad of a drive, just 5 1/2 hours. Left Pensacola about 2pm and arrived at 7:30pm.
Dinner at Cracker Barrel. Probably the last time for awhile.
Next Day and LAST DAY:
Plan on getting out ofWeiterlesen
Back to where we began

Back to where the train trip began and where we left our car. It was still there. Yay!
Earlene is not doing well. Called her other daughter, the nurse, and she believes one of her medications is theWeiterlesen
Picking up the dogs

Momma Ed finally has Bandi, aka wiggle worm, aka goober head. She is ecstatic.
Home

We're home. At least 2 out of 3 are home.
