    It was a 6 am start to be at the ‘Avenue of the Baobabs’ for sunrise. We then we headed 50km to the north-east of Morondava to the Kirindy Reserve. This is a privately managed forest that is known as the best place in Madagascar to see the elusive fossa, which we found upon arriving in the park.
