Mandrare River Camp

In the morning we revisited the sacred gallery forest. As it had been a very cold morning many of lemurs remain high in the branches sunning themselves.

At 4pm we departed for a sundowner amidst the baobabs. On sunset our guides built a traditional fire and shortly after, local village people appeared to perform traditional dances, accompanied by singing and music.

We ended the night with dinner on our verandah.Read more
