MV Tucano - Day Two

Early in the morning, we explored the rainforest along the water’s edge in our launch. After breakfast, we took our first bush walk in the forest, gaining a good introduction to Amazon ecology.

Around midday, we returned for lunch, and the vessel continued cruising up the Rio Negro.

In the late afternoon, we once again explored the forest in our launch and listened to the sunset chorus of birds. Later that night, we embarked on a nocturnal excursion in our launch.Read more
