    We spent more time exploring the local area and visited the Ben Thanh Market. Originally established in the early 17th century by street vendors near the Saigon River, the market was later developed by the French and rebuilt in 1912. Today, it houses over 6,000 small businesses selling everything from food and produce to clothes, bags, shoes, and souvenirs. The day quickly heated up and it became very humid.Read more
