    Udaipur is famous for its beautiful lakes and is an interesting mix of history, culture, colour and everyday life.

    We visited the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens), and enjoyed the beautiful views across Lake Pichola, especially at night when the illuminated buildings reflected on the water.

    We also spent time exploring the Old City and watching everyday life unfold, from the bustling lanes to locals washing clothes, relaxing and socialising on the steps leading down to the lake.    Read more
