    Galapagos day one continued

    We saw a female turtle just after she had laid her eggs go back into the ocean. Very rare to see in the day as this is usually only done at night.

    You can see the hole she dug and the eggs are always laid off centre. The female only lays eggs every 3 -4 years and only about 1% survive.Read more
