Last of Galapagos day six

In the afternoon we had a zodiac ride around the mangroves seeing turtles penguins and birds.

If you zoom in on the penguin shot you can see birds in the background - they blend into the rocks.

A visit to the captain's deck and then my favorite time happy hour with a pina colada on the lower outside deck as we cruise. Its so nice laying on the couches looking at the ocean and the birds.

We often see schools of dolphins.

Interesting fact is that sharks are attracted to boats the theory being that they have learnt that food may be available from experiences with fishing vessels.
So the cruise operator does not allow any swimming near the ship.Читать далее
