Bonaire

Bonaire was great! Who would have thought.

I'm in a good mood for the first time on this cruise!

Picked up a taxi with two other cruisers. Marge stayed on board. Half the price of the cruise ship's tour.

Bonaire is very organised. The government has set the price for private operators and the tours are either the north or south part of the island. I did the south.

Our driver was great and he even took us off road to get a closer look at the flamingos and I love flamingos.

After the tour I checked out the shops which were great by carribean standards.

Then I found a cafe that had air conditioning and high speed internet with chocolate milkshakes made from homemade icecream. A good day!
