Suzdal - christmas eve

Train then bus to Suzdal. Was here last year so really only here to see it covered in snow but to no avail.
Staying in a homestay so that will be interesting.
One shower and toilet for 12 people for 2 days.

The food was fantastic and all homemade and our host could not have been nicer. It was a great stay despite the killer stairs (very steep and no railing) to the second level where all the bedrooms were.

So christmas eve was an awesome dinner at Lena's beside her christmas tree that she was very proud of. Then another amazing meal for christmas morning. Then a town tour, Christmas lunch in a very cute and cosy restaurant and dinner in another. So all in all a lovely Christmas day. The russians celebrate christmas on nye so we will get a 2nd christmas in St Petersburg.
