Kuranda and a whole lot of me

So off to Kuranda on the train track which was built from Cairns to Kuranda and completed in 1891. It was years late, ran over budget and 2 companies dropped out from building it due to the harsh conditions. Building it was an engineering feat - swampy jungle conditions, soil removed in beer barrels, all overhanging loose tree and rocks removed by hand and 15 tunnels excavated by hand.
Alot of deaths - malaria, snake bites, explosive accidents and fighting!
