    Falcons are a big part of the Qatari culture. This country used to be poor prior to finding natural gas and oil in the 1930s. At that point, there were two classes of people, and one was the better ones. They were nomadic people living in the desert and they used Falcons to help them hunt for food. We went to the falcon market where we saw Falcons available for sale from $100 up to $6000. You see the little hoods that are for sale. We also went to the world famous falcon hospital.Read more
