    Every year we stop at this little hut where an indigenous artist sells his family's masks. These are probably the most unique thing for us to bring home from Costa Rica. They have a history for the tribe related to fighting against the Spanish. And artisans continue to make them now, although quality can vary. If you buy them in a tourist souvenir shop you will pay three times as much. The work is just stunning.Read more
