Mask Workshop

Students completed a workshop on indigenous mask making with a local Boruca artist. Here you see them painting their own masks and also attempting to carve the Balsa wood to form the masks. We then learned about indigenous weaving, and how to make all of the different colors using natural ingredients like turmeric.Read more
