    Day 3 : We went on a food tour in the San Telmo district. First we learned how to make mate( herbs steeped in hot water and drank through a metal straw). Next stop was a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses, & Dan had his first glass of vermouth. Next was empanadas of course, this time lamb. Main course was swiss chard fritters, fried provolone, beef schnitzel and more vermouth. After the tour we needed to walk off some calories so we browsed the Sunday craft and antique fair. Continued walking to the eco park which is a small zoo in the city of Buenos Aires, they even had a giraffe. We were still full from the food tour so ice cream for dinner.
