Santiago, Chile

Today was a transportation day. We finished up our agenda with the planned trip to Argentina and went to the international airport in Buenos Aires to catch our 2 hour flight to Santiago. We practiced with immigration, as we are going to need to pass through immigration again in a few days when we catch our flight to New York. Unfortunately, we booked separate airlines, so we will not be able to check through from Santiago to New York. We should have plenty of time on Friday to make the connection.
After we got to Santiago, we took a shared van service to our hotel in Downtown Santiago. Once we checked in, we went out to a late lunch/early dinner at a Peruvian restaurant (continuing our “eat our way through South America” tour), and then walked through several parks and shops on the way back to the hotel.Read more
