A little scavenger hunt

Today, I took it easy to catch up on sleep, work and skype time with my loved ones.

I did have one little adventure though: the charging cable for my phone broke and it's a type of cable which is not easily found just anywhere. So I went on a scavenger hunt of calling electronics shops, asking around, going to 2 shopping malls. I learned a lot about this city of 7 million people (which a taxi driver called a small city :) ), language barriers and wonderful, kind people. I ended up finding the cable at a little mobile shop on the side of the street and was so happy, the sales guy didn't know what was happening :-)

The most fascinating thing to me are all the little street grocery places, that set up shop in the morning on the curb side and sell veggies, meat, nuts or fish, like in the one picture I took all day ;-)もっと詳しく
