Gaining elevation

After a beautiful second safari in the morning, I headed north to Ella, a small and kind of touristy town in the mountains. Surrounded by tea plantations and great hiking spots, it's a popular place to visit, but not overrun.

The absolute highlight of the day was a short hike through plantations for sunset on top of "Little Adams Peak", with stunning views. Sri Lanka is such a diverse place, and each place has a lot of beauty to offer. For the most part, locals are helpful, funny and don't try to rip you off. I'm having a fantastic time :)Læs mere
