Córdoba

Der nächste Stop auf dem Weg nach Mexico City. Hier ist das feeling gleich ganz anders als in Villahermosa. Sieht nett aus.
Ich bin kaputt. Morgens um 6h bin ich losgelaufen, damit ich den Bus um 7h nehmen kann (und was für ein Glück, der Regen hat da gerade aufgehört, der ordentlich ab 3h runter kam).
Es ist die längste Fahrt auf dem Weg und ich will immer bei Tageslicht ankommen.
Um 14h sollte der Bus ungefähr ankommen, aber es wurde fast 16h.
Unterwegs werden die Busse nämlich öfter (unser Bus 2x) von der migracion (Einwanderungsbehörde) angehalten und überprüft. Jeder nicht-Mexikaner wird genauer gecheckt. So musste ich meinen Pass und mein Visa vorzeigen, was aber keine Probleme gab. Weiße werden meist mit viel Respekt behandelt.
Aber je dunkler die Hautfarbe, desto strenger werden sie. Es waren 5 Schwarze im Bus und die wurden, obwohl sie Ausweise und Papiere hatten, alle aufgefordert mit Gepäck den Bus zu verlassen. Ich nahm an, dass der Bus wartet bis das geklärt wäre, aber der ist dann weiter gefahren.
Der Mexikaner im Bus neben mir erklärte mir dann, dass die Mexiko in diesem Sinne recht rassistisch sei. Weiß = gut, weil vermutlich Geld, Schwarz = schlecht, weil vermutlich arm.
Dabei sind wir doch alles Menschen. Blöd sowas, aber die Hoffnung bleibt, dass die Hautfarbe in einer fernen Zukunft keine Rolle mehr spielt. Es ist nur jetzt leider noch tägliche Realität.

Beim 2. Stop war ich dann die einzige Ausländerin und sollte jetzt auch noch mein Flugticket zeigen. Gut, dass ich das noch im Handy gespeichert hatte. Wieder kein Problem: "gute Reise!"

In Córdoba angekommen hab ich dann den öffentlichen Bus genommen, um zum Hostel zu kommen, dass mich 8€ die Nacht kostet. Spontan hab ich dann gleich noch eine Nacht dazu gebucht, denn was ich auf der Fahrt gesehen habe gefällt mir. Und das Hostel ist auch voll süß. Auf dem 6 Bett Zimmer ist nur noch eine weitere Frau.
Auspacken, einrichten, Gegend erkunden. Ein Spaziergang durch die Stadt, die jetzt schon auf 800m liegt und nicht mehr ganz so heiß ist.
Gefällt mir. Morgen mehr davon...

The next stop on the way to Mexico City. The feeling is directly very different to the one of Villahermosa. Looks nice.
I'm exhausted. I started walking at 6am in the morning so I could catch the 7am bus (and how lucky I was, as the rain had just stopped, that was pouring down from 3am).
It's the longest drive on my way to CDMX and I always want to arrive in daylight.
The bus was supposed to arrive at around 2pm, but it was got there just before 4pm.
On the way, the buses are often (our bus 2x) stopped and checked by the migration (immigration authorities). Every non-Mexican is checked more closely. So I had to show my passport and visa, but there was no problem. White people are usually treated with a lot of respect.
But the darker the skin tone, the stricter they become. There were 5 black people on the bus and even though they had IDs and papers, they were all asked to get off the bus with luggage. I assumed that the bus would wait until that was clarified, but it drove on leaving them with the military.
The Mexican on the bus next to me then explained to me that Mexico acts quiet racist in that sense. White = good because probably money, black = bad because probably poor.
Yet we are all human. Sad stuff, but the hope remains that skin color will no longer play a role in a distant future. But it is still a daily reality, unfortunately.

At the 2nd stop I was the only foreigner and was asked to show my flight ticket as well. Gladly I still had that stored in my phone. No problem again: "Have a nice trip!"

When I arrived in Córdoba I took the public bus to get to the hostel, which cost me 8€ a night. I spontaneously booked another night because I liked what I saw on the drive through town. And the hostel is super cute too. There is only one other woman in the 6-bed room.
Unpack, set up, explore the area. A walk through the city, which is already at 800m and the climate is not that hot anymore.
I like it. More of this tomorrow...

La próxima parada en el camino a la Ciudad de México. Aquí la sensación es muy diferente a la de Villahermosa. Me gusta.
Estoy exhausto. Empecé a caminar a las 6 a.m. para poder tomar el autobús de las 7 a.m. (y qué suerte que la lluvia acababa de detenerse que cayó desde las 3 a.m.).
Es el viaje más largo del trip a CDMX y siempre quiero llegar a la luz del día. Se suponía que el autobús llegaría alrededor de las 2 p.m., pero estaba llegando sobre las 4 p.m.
En el camino, los autobuses son a menudo (nuestro autobús 2x) detenidos y controlados por la migración (autoridades de inmigración). Todos los no-mexicanos son revisados ​​más de cerca. Así que tuve que mostrar mi pasaporte y mi visa, pero eso no fue un problema. Los blancos suelen ser tratados con mucho respeto. Pero cuanto más oscuro es el tono de la piel, más estrictos son. Habían 5 personas negras en el autobús y, aunque parecían de tener documentos de identidad y papeles, todos tenían que bajarse del autobús con equipaje. Supuse que el autobús esperaría hasta que eso se solucionara, pero luego siguió adelante.
El mexicano en el autobús a mi lado me explicó entonces que Mexico actúa un poco racista en ese sentido. Blanco = bueno, porque probablemente dinero, negro = malo, porque probablemente pobre. Sin embargo, todos somos humanos. Una pena. Pero queda la esperanza de que el color de la piel no importe en un futuro lejano. Desafortunadamente, eso es una realidad diaria.

En la segunda parada, yo era la único extranjera y se suponía que debía mostrar mi boleto de avión. Me alegro de que lo todavía tenía guardado en mi teléfono. No hay problema de nuevo: "¡Que tengas un buen viaje!"

Cuando llegué a Córdoba cogí el autobús público para llegar al hostel, que me costó 8€ la noche. Reservé espontáneamente otra noche porque me gustaba lo que vi en el viaje. Y el albergue también es super lindo. Solo hay otra mujer en la habitación de 6 camas. Desempaquear, alojar, explorar los alrededores. Un paseo por la ciudad, que ya está a 800m de altura y ya no hace tanto calor. Me gusta eso. Más mañana...En savoir plus
