The star symbolises protection, while the ☭ as the union of workers and peasants. By 1924, it became part of the Soviet flag and the official emblem of the Soviet Union.

Interesting fact: it was rumoured the Red Star, which was mounted on the Communist Party Headquarters, was made of Ruby! It was airlifted off only for disappointment 🫢

Imposing statues, incredible artwork. In retrospect, the Communist Tour brought this to lift more. It's a shame the current government doesn't embrace this heritage, but as I begin to understand Communism, I think I can guess why...✊️Read more
