    Our first visitors in Xativa! Laura’s parents came from sunny Belgium to rainy Spain to experience the Fallas of Valencia, a crazy four-day festival that celebrates the arrival of spring. ‘Fallas’ are giant figures that are displayed in the streets of Valencia and neighbouring cities. Locals wear traditional clothing, there is a daily ‘concert of gunpowder’ (known as ‘La Mascletà’) and everyone is playing with firecrackers (day and night).
