Zaragoza

We're travelling in Aragon for one week before heading to Norway! First stop: Spain's fifth-largest city, Zaragoza. This city is filled with remains from Roman times, when the city was named Caesaraugusta. Unfortunately, a lot of the museums were closed (everyone is on holiday in Spain!).

Instead, we visited the impressive Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar (one of the towers offers a great view on the city!) & La Seo Cathedral, walked around the Aljafería Palace (known as the best piece of Moorish architecture outside of Andalusia) and ate some delicious empanadas :).Read more
