It was about time to visit the capital of Spain, so we prepared Otto for another roadtrip with foster doggie Boomie and took off for a mini-holiday!

Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones with this fabulous plan. Walking along the Gran Via felt more like cattle being herded. We loved exploring the neighbourhoods of Malasaña, Chueca and Lavapiés, with their cosy streets full of restaurants, bars and cool shops. The city is quite green and we really liked 'El Retiro' park with it's beautiful Crystal Palace.

Traveling with a dog means it is difficult to visit any indoor attractions, so unfortunately we couldn't visit the Prado or Reina Sofia. Next time :)! On the plus side, we had to do everything on foot and saw our average step count tripled!Læs mere
