In the morning I walked back to the trailhead where sensi was meeting her pickup vehicle. I started hiking around 9:00 a.m. I hiked 16 mi to panther creek. I saw in far out (the app I use) comments that some people like the road which gives you views of you of panther Creek falls, less elevation gain than the trail, and also cuts 6 mi off the distance. I was already behind my trail family and had quite a few miles to catch them. so I decided to hike the road the next morning to try and catch them. Panther Creek campground is easy to access so Ian and Riley came to visit me. We drove down to Carson and got dinner at backwoods brewing and spent the night at the campground!
