One word to describe the day: mather!

This morning I naturally woke up at 5:30 so I was hiking by 6:00! Today was an exciting day because I had Mather pass to climb. I had heard from other hikers that mather is the most difficult out of all the passes I have in front of me. Also one of the most beautiful! So I was a little bit nervous but it was great! The north side was a lot of scrambling on rocks and a few patches of snow, but other than that it was great! Luckily there was a hiker a couple hundred feet ahead of me so I was able to see where the trail was. This section is so tiring. So far everyday there have been very big ups and downs.
