Miles hiked: 25
Campsite: 2619
Weather: 40s and sunny
One word to describe the day: larches
This morning Mary, aka lion drove us to the trailhead. But I biked to the coffee shop before we left at 8am and got the best cappuccino of the trail! Mary has hiked over 1500 miles of the PCT and decided she wanted to be a permanent trail angel. She bought her place specifically to host hikers!
Today's hike was cold but so beautiful. The larches are yellow and there was a fresh layer of snow. Tonight is going to get down to 25 degrees! I'll definitely be testing out the limits of my sleeping bag! We are only 36 miles to Canada. It' just doesn't feel real. Today we had our last big climb of the trail. From here on out it looks quite rolling and short climbs. Tomorrow is my last full day of hiking🤯Read more
