Sossus Oasis Campsite

It was nearly 3 hours of extreme gravel roads to get here and we lost the gas bottle on route as it fell out the bottom of the trailer. I’m definitely not getting Namibia. There is a lot of nothing. Nobody seems to be a local and all it is, is hire vehicles with roof tents on and those tourists are mainly French and German. None of the tourists are friendly even if you say hello they look at you like you’ve got 2 heads.
However we have arrived at camp and it is nice and we have great views of the nothingness. We are surrounded by the rooftop tent gangs but fortunately we’ll be out before them un the morning as we have nothing to pack up.Read more
