A quick stop in Solitaire

Our next stop en route today was the tiny town of Solitaire.
Solitaire has a petrol station, a lodge, a general store and a bakery. And a population of 95. There are always more tourists than residents.
We were here for Mcgregors Bakery made famous by a Scottish man called Paddy McGregor who died in 2014 and came up with a famous apple pie recipe. We had the pie with ice cream and it was amazing.Read more
