I got to Gordon, my host, house and he suggested I check out the loop. All the parks and beaches. This was the first one I got to. I walked around and visited just about every dog I came across.

I stopped a few people on the beach until I finally found a local to tell me what was all over the beach. The answer after a storm there is kelp. Huge strings of kelp. I took a picture of my foot forBaca lagi
Cape Arago

I drove through Charleston all the way down to the cape. I saw sealions at the viewpoint. I got to see them a bit closer when I got to the tip, but still not good enough to take a picture.
Coos Bay Boardwalk

I did the short walk along the boardwalk. A few different boats docked and an airplane.

Heading back into town and of coarse I had to pull over and take a few pictures of the beautiful sky. I'll never find this old. Just so pretty.
Gone crabbing

Gordon offered to take me out to catch crabs and I jumped at the opportunity. It was so cool and easy to catch. We put chicken in the traps and within the hour we had plenty to eat. We caught RedrockBaca lagi

I went with Steve to check out the falls. We did all the trails. We saw it from all levels. Very pretty. It was cool to see.

I met up with Paul, my new host, and his kids last night so I can say I've stayed in a yurt. It was basically a fancy tent or a really low key cabin. They were nice. I left and headed south to stayBaca lagi
Pit stops to California

Paul and I started the day by walking two trails in redwood. The trees were huge! I took a few pictures to show how small I am compared to them. Nice trails.

Walk in the park

I met my hosts, Jess, Phin, and Autumn. We talked for a while and then went over to the local park to walk their really big puppy dogs. Pretty park. We had a fun night of homemade pizza and games.

Coit tower

I walked up the never-ending stairs to the tower. I arrived at the perfect time to join the tour about the murals. I was allowed to see the rare murals on the second floor. Very cool.
The curvy road
