Beginning Halloween early

We started bar hopping and it was super fun to see everyone completely into Halloween and starting the celebration earlier. I just I would have known and had an extra costume to wear. Loved it.

I got to the monument and hiked two of the trails. I got to see a bunch of deer and a few prairie dogs. The monument looked cool. I couldn't see them, but I did hear some climbers going up and Czytaj więcej
Coal mining

My hosts suggested I check out the coal mining industry. I was only able to go to this outlook. I had no idea what I was looking at so I left pretty fast. I also saw a few oil drilling spots along my Czytaj więcej

Driving through the first animals I saw are prairie dogs. Then I finally saw wild horses. I didn't get good pictures, but I met Pam and she should be emailing me some awesome shots. I also got to see Czytaj więcej

Rim rocks

I started my day walking the path along this mountain range right next to the airport. A few miles in the cold just taking in the view.
Local museum

I wandered into this free museum and they had the most random collections. Stuffed animal heads, a two headed calf, Indian shoes, and a huge collection of pocket knife. Definitely entertaining.
Over the tapas

Yellowstone

Finally got to see the mysterious elk. Matt was laughing every time I walked up as close as I thought I could without scaring them to get a better picture.
Boiling river

I went over to Matt's house to hang out for pizza and movies. We watched Roadhouse for the first time. We mocked it the whole time. And he has the cutest dogs.

I woke up and it was snowing like crazy. It only took a few minutes for Matt, Angel and Rich to convince me that this was not the day to leave. And then all I wanted to do was eat everything.

We went out to celebrate Matt leaving. He got super drunk, but it was a fun night. I also got to Ben and he was telling me how he's going to Madagascar with the Peace Corps.
