Megan and I head out for the day. On our way to the train station we pass this house that is totally ready for Halloween. I'm so ready for the holiday, no matter where I end up.

Deep dish pizza

We went to Giordano's and got the Greek salad and veggie stuffed pizza. The pizza takes 45 minutes to make and we had a seat to keep an eye out on the Cub's game. Much better than my experience withЧитать далее

Lincoln zoo

I get free roadside parking and go to the free zoo. When I get I got to see yet another beautiful view of the city. I was also entertained by the old cars that they turned into food stands.

This wasn't a big zoo, but because the weather was cooler the animals were much more active and visible than what I am accustomed to seeing. I almost got a video of a zebra squealing at a little kid.Читать далее

Of coarse I always enjoy the artwork that places choose to put on display. I really enjoyed the flying man and the intense gorilla stare.

I finished at the zoo and went to the kids section. I got to feed the black cow and saw a glimpse into what a milking station looks like.

I headed up to the Marieke Gouda and tasted their dissent types of goudas. The staff was super friendly and there were so many cows, both real and fake. And of coarse cheese. Lots of cheese.
Second corn maze

I went outside to wait until the 1pm milking and saw they had a minion corn maze. Not as fun as the first one since it was partially torn down, but I still got a little lost inside which was fun.
