Got some stormy weather on our way to Jekyll Island but it stopped as we were docking and turned into a nice day. Moki and I did some early recon and then James and I took some bikes out for a spin to dinner. From Jekyll Harbor Marina where we are staying it’s only .8 miles to the beach. Supposed to rain again this evening and all day tomorrow with NNW 15-25. Will be a good day to be in a marina!Read more

TravelerI love the pictures of Moki and the azaleas. I think you hit the flowers at the peak of their bloom. (At least at our house, these 3 weeks are the peak...Of course then that rain comes along and beats them down. Have fun in Paradise.

TravelerThat makes sense. When I visited the Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka in 2021 it was mid March and they were in full bloom there too. Azaleas don’t grow where we live… too warm.. so I’m always impressed when I see them. They are all over here and really pretty.
