Carolina Beach State Park day 7

Decided to stay thru the weekend and start back out again on Monday. So today I did the Ranger’s guided hike. Got to see the Venus Flytrap which I looked for but missed on earlier hikes. Always helps to go with someone who’s in the know. This has been a good stay. $24 a night (senior discount). Power, water, showers & laundry. It’s right off the ICW and miles of trails for entertainment. Groceries close by too. It’s shallow getting in so outside of a bunch of day boats there is only us and a guy in a sailboat the next dock over staying onboard. We’ve enjoyed the down time.
