Sandy Point State Park

Our highest mileage day at 84 got us to this State Park at almost 3pm. We planned to stop at another site but 😱 No dogs! This park was the goal anyways as I am jumping ship tomorrow for a few days. Have a work thing. This park has 6 nice day docks and 22 ramp lanes all in a protected cove which we will anchor in tonight. There’s also a Marina store and fuel dock. It’s raining again but our initial walkabout led us to some interpretive signage and the Sandy Point Mansion… which was originally a tobacco plantation. There’s also an old lighthouse visible from the beach which we found on our last stroll of the day.Baca lagi
