Little Sheepshead Creek

We had a long day cruising thru the New Jerseys ICW. All of the big boats were running outside and we know why… there are spots on the ICW that are only 2 foot deep at low tide. Also the ICW twists and turns allot and has lots of Slow Speed No Wake Zones… Although we didn’t see that many boats actually slow down. It is interesting how the environment changes as we travel. Here it’s all grass. Short grass. Can see a long ways. But not many good anchorages for getting Moki to shore. Tonight we are anchored off a dirt ramp up a small creek. Rutgers maintains a weather station across the road and their Marine Field Station is at the end of the road. From here we can see the beach dunes 2 miles away as a bird flies. 66 miles today.Baca selengkapnya
