Woke this morning to a pretty sunrise peaking thru the clouds. Moki and I set out on another hike… this one to the Women’s Federation Monument. Holy Smokes! That was a hike. But we made it up and back before 8:30. The Women’s Federation BTW were instrumental in halting the quarrying of rock from the Palisades (legislation passed in 1900). We are now underway, headed to a marina for a couple days with easy access to the train for visits with James’s kids. Some pics in the mix from our voyage. Czytaj więcej

PodróżnikRight!?! My treadmill hikes definitely helped but that was 3 months ago! Not bad going up. Coming down a little freaky.
