    Today we locked thru 6 of 9 Chambly locks and are docked for the night on the lock dock (with power) in downtown Chambly. The Chambly locks are slow going. We locked thru with two other boats (a 48’ Sabre and a sailing vessel) and it’s tight inside. But the lock tenders are all super friendly. When we asked where we could tie up for the night the tender at lock 7 called and made our reservations. From here we are walking distance to the Chambly Fort and there are two ice cream shops steps from the boat.
