Nice slow cruise today to St. Ours where we are staying just outside the lock on the dock. The St. Ours lock was pretty cool in that you tie up to a floating dock that lowers as the water is let out. Easy peasy! It is the second lock built between 1929 and 1933. First was built in 1840s. Met fellow looper Bernie aboard River Rat for dinner and plan to cruise with him tomorrow to Montreal. It was cool today. High 68 and it’s getting down to 46 overnight! The weather has been a nice treat from hot hot hot.Read more
