    Frankford

    July 30, 2024 in Canada ⋅ ☁️ 77 °F

We went thru the first six locks of the Trent Severn today rising 117 feet and traveling 8 miles. We arrived on the lock dock around 12:30 and it was mostly empty but by 6pm when the lock closed both docks were mostly pretty full. Frankford lock dock has power and showers are provided by the City. This town is small… only one traffic light but we enjoyed walking around. It was warm today… high of 88 but rained right before dinner and the temp dropped to 73. By the way for my south Florida redneck neighbors… if you click on the title of the post (in this case Frankford) it will show you on a map where we are 😉.Read more
